Though I don't always agree with some of the conclusions the author makes, I think his blog is well written, lucid and pertinent to current events. As an American, I feel it's difficult to get unbiased or unfiltered news from regular media outlets (though NPR does a good job). I am therefore always fascinated by points of view that exist outside our "bubble."

I look forward to reading more "Scribbles."

Hi! I am from Afghanistan myself. I think this weblog (MyScribbles) is a great one. It not only describes the essence of politics in Afghanistan, but also provides a valuable insight to the politics of the world. The author's writing is lucid and the articles are of interest to those who like politics. The pictures on the weblog are also great.

Further, I recommend this blog to anyone who wants to know more than what is told in the news about Afghanistan. Blog more!

The write-ups are from a mysterious Afghan; I understand the writer may say something that could cause repercussions from local fundamentalists, but I don't know if the writer is in Afghanistan or the US.

The author is literate, keeps up with affairs of state and provides the much needed perspective that bridges the gap between the US and the Middle East.

The blog appears to be of recent vintage, but the articles have substance. Personally, I would like to see a few more pictures of everyday life.

Well done, I expect to see more.
