Great surf blog, Like the layout color schemes etc, I was expecting to be bombarded with pictures of the beachboys from the title but was pleasently surprised, sick post on Steph too, them ripcurl aussies are dominating this year for sure!

I really enjoy visiting this blog every once in a while, the surfing photos are amazing. With the mass industry surfing has become there are load and load of photos thrown out every day, but this blog seems to find the most innovative and fresh ones, a different perspective, angle... nice!

I agree with the previous reviewer that this site is strong on photography. I like the fact that a lot of the shots show plenty of ocean around the surfers in action. This bucks the trend today in many areas of sports photgraphy for front lit zoom shots designed to show up sponsor labels.

Shots of waves without any surfers are sometimes just as appealing - you can transport yourself to the wave and wish you were riding it. The design and layout is nothing special but does not detract from the posts unlike many overdesigned sites. The accompanying text is pretty lifeless and the music section is a mixed bag. There's no personality springing out from the page - which is a pity - as the author(s) have ceratinly an eye for a good picture.
