This is a very informative blog – one of the best of its kind. I have gone through all the posts but I have some doubts about some thing. Updates of this blogs are rare. Since blog needs latest info, I humly request the blog master to update this blog when ever gets time.
All other aspects are really Great. I have some own blogs in this subject – on malignancy and malignant cancers or tumors - I shall link this blog from them. I think this blog needs that as this is very informative.
And about complete cure of Cancers and malignant tumors I was simply wondering why common men like me and you can work for this/in this direction? It may be scientist’s subject, but I think we too can provide good contribution to this subject... I could see an informative guide on malignant cancers and the cure of cancer etc from following URL
http://www.helpcure.com/cancer
This site will give you a free cancer- guide which details how to cure cancers by Holistic Treatment – Only useful treatment to cure cancer completely- and also on how to care cancer as well as much information about the cancers
Thanks lot

Excellent and simple Blog- I like this because it’s informative and simple nature. This is a great piece of work appreciable. Mean time an important issue is updations. I request you to update this blog when ever possible. We require most recent information and I am sure your blog can provide them.
.. Cancer is difficult and really dangerous illness that kills millions a year. If we can provide any help to save at least some of them- it is always nice Some times people are saying malignancy is incurable. But I have seen a website detailing that holistic treatment can cure Cancer even in 2ndry stage. You can logon to http://www.helpcure.com/cancer and know further.
What ever it is. My personal request to all of you to work and gather information regarding this subject and let others also know further. I can say you millions of people are still on earth suffering from cancers – some of them even doesn’t know what cancer is all about.
Whether this is holistic or allopathic or homeopathic I want to put and end to the sufferings of millions of less fortunate people – My heart sings for them. I request you people also join.
I Hope for the best

A simple catalogue of a womans battle with cancer. Thoughtfully written. Sharing her experiences on the fight against this disease must have helped her a lot. Good luck! I am sure that with perseverance you can fight it and hope that you come out with a perfect and peaceful life.

Reading about cancer is scary sometimes. Suffering through cancer, surviving and writing so that others may read and benefit from it is quite noble. I wish Lucy good luck with her PET scans, and many more years of writing.

This is a good blog with lessons for patients, survivors and healthcare professionals.

sORRY! i don't speak english, so i will speak in spanish.

Hi Lucy,

I want to give you a gentle hug because I am an avid blog reader and yours is the first blog that I've ever read that has brought me to tears due to your courage and honesty.

Like many others my life too has been touched by this disease since my beloved grandfather had throat cancer when he was 86 years old.

Lucy you keep on being strong and positive. Also watch a lot of comedy shows. I think you are an inspiration to all who read your words.

Really brings you into her life and her struggle. Great content but... I will not give a blog that does not allow comments anything more than a 6 rating (same to Blogger blogs that only allow blogger comments). Sure, it's your choice but if you truly want it to be a great blog, comments are important. You will lose half of your readership just for that fact.

Thank you for sharing your journey with a disease that not many people dare to talk about.
"Surviving Cancer" is a blog filled with hope and when someone opends up their heart in this way one can't help but to be moved by it.

I think we all have our own personal experiances (directly or indirectly) with cancer. My aunt passed away, at a very young age due to this disease.

Thank you for offering hope in a world that at times seems hopeless.
You make me reivaluate what a bad day in my life is.

Stay strong

Hi lucy:

Thanks for sharing your ordeal with cancer. I enjoyed and can sympathise with your experience.

I haven't personally experienced cancer, but it has stuck it's isiduous fingers into my wife's family.

My wife's aunt, only 52, died last year after fighting stomach cancer. It was her second round with it. She beat it over ten years ago, but this time around it got the best of her.

It was terrible watching the slow decline in her well-being. I'm so glad to hear your story of survival. I rejoice anytime someone beats cancer at its own game. Best of luck to you.

Cancer is never a happy topic but after having a family memeber be diagnosed with a disease it is important for people with illnesses and their friends and family to know that they are not alone in thier suffereing. And more importantly that they can get through it.

This is exactly why this blog is so important and in my opnion the real reason blogs are so useful - to connect those that feel alone in thier suffering.

Thank yo for creating this blog!

Thanks for sharing your journey. Cancer affects so many people and there's nothing like hearing it, first hand, from someone who's living the experience.

One thing the internet has done, is open up the world of all sorts of different experiences and feelings that we have to others' - sometimes things that even our own families, our own health professionals can't really begin to get a hold of, until it's articulated in something like your blog. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Wow, what a brave lady! Your writing is wonderful. You take us, the reader, through such difficult subjects with gentleness and kindness, removing some of the "smoke and mirrors" that often accompanies cancer.

I have just had a friend who has battled with breastcancer for 5 years, lose her fight, leaving two small children and husband bereft. It's great to hear your plucky words and to feel your grit and determination. Thank you for passing it on to others.

Keep up the good work both on your body and on your blog. I will follow your journey with interest ...

Congratulations and may God keep his eye on you. This blog was important to me as my wife is a "survivor" also.

It takes a lot of guts, and a lot of determination and love for ones self and others to be able to put your life out for all to view.

The strength you show in your writing and in your outlook on life is commendable.

I love the picture of the before and after hair style. Ü My wife wouldn't allow me to take pictures while she was undergoing chemo or radiation.

You are a strong willed lady, and I'm proud to have had the opportunity to meet you here in your own words.

Again, God Bless.
